Dog of the Week

Meet Jordan

Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed – Medium Young Male (Short coat)

Hi!  My name is Jordan.  I am a beautiful lab/terrier mix and a perfect size at 40 pounds.  I am a very lucky dog as I was rescued running with my friends – my kennel mate Matilda and her son Atticus.  I am very happy and love being at Straydog while I wait for my forever home.  I am told by my caregivers that I am a good boy and we enjoy playing together in the yard.  I get along well with other dogs.  I currently live with my kennel mate Matilda, and we have a lot of fun together.  I dream of a family of my own.  Please contact Straydog to meet me.  I would love to meet you.

I would love to meet you, too. Contact my awesome caregivers at straydogshelter@gmail.com for more information or visit us at an Upcoming Event!

It’s a Puppy Palooza!

Each one of our adorable puppies is looking for a forever family to grow up with,
so come out to the shelter to meet them and fall in love!

RESCUE, REHABILITATE, REHOME

Join Our Mission: To rescue and rehabilitate homeless and abandoned dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into a caring, loving home; and to act as a sanctuary for those dogs who are never adopted.

Our supporters change the lives of abandoned and abused dogs. Our work is fueled by our mission – and your compassion.

It is against Texas law to dump or abandon animals. Due to recent instances of abandonment, our property is now under surveillance.
