Straydog Inc celebrates GivingTuesday with a one-day online virtual campaign, joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement on December 1, 2020
Eustace, TX, November 18, 2020 – This GivingTuesday, Straydog Inc will inspire generosity by sharing heartwarming stories of homeless and abandoned dogs that were cared for by Straydog until they found their loving and safe forever home. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate homeless and abandoned dogs in a no-kill environment until each is adopted into a caring, loving home; and to act as a sanctuary for those dogs who are never adopted.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 1, 2020, and throughout the remainder of the year.
Straydog Inc has launched the GIVINGTUESDAY effort to launch its Annual End of Year Giving appeal with a goal of accepting $100,000 in generous gifts from those who support the love and care of homeless and abandoned dogs.
Recently, Straydog rescued five adorable Catahoula Leopard dog mixes that were abandoned in a puppy corral next to a dumpster on the Straydog campus. Less than 3 months old, cold, scared and not socialized, Straydog took them in to love and care for all of them: Makayla, Mason, Morgan, Ronnie & Trish! Unfortunately, all of them developed staph infections and were later diagnosed with ringworm. Straydog ensured they received all vaccinations and full treatment for multiple illnesses. They are now happy, healthy and available for adoption at www.straydog.org/adopt.
Vet bills and staff time amount to quite a bit with five intakes at one time but support from loyal donors like you allow us to continue our mission in saving homeless and abandoned dogs into the new year!
