On Saturday, March 2nd, seventy-five of our closest friends joined us to celebrate the official opening of our two new kennel buildings with a joyous ribbon-cutting ceremony! We enthusiastically broke ground on these two new shelter buildings in Spring 2023. It is only because of the generous support of our donors that Straydog could launch this life-changing initiative.
The two perpendicularly oriented buildings can house 80+ Straydog rescues in indoor/outdoor kennels. Each kennel features an indoor/outdoor living space, temerature-controlled indoor space, indoor bedding, a shaded concrete landing pad, and a soft sand outdoor space. Sand is ideal for doggy messes and maintenance.
